Tom graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2014 and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Healthcare Professions Council. He first joined the clinic as a Physiotherapist in 2014, before taking the Clinical Lead role in 2018. In April 2022, he became owner and Director of both the Harlow and Puckeridge clinics, along with his wife Amy. He continues to maintain a busy caseload of patients whilst managing the company.
Having chosen to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Tom has undertaken various postgraduate courses based in this field including acupuncture and sports trauma. He has also developed a special interest in headache and migraine and has led our treatment in this, with the clinic becoming a specialist headache and migraine centre in 2016. In 2019, he also completed his Postgraduate Certificate, a Masters-level qualification in Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Scanning and is now dual-qualified as a Musculoskeletal Sonographer as well as a Physiotherapist. He now leads our diagnostic services within the clinic.
Tom has also added the ability to perform ultrasound-guided injections to his skillset. This is a continuation of the Advanced Clinical Practice MSc pathway, and he plans to finish this soon by also completing the Practice Certificate for Independent Prescribing, which would allow him to be able to prescribe controlled medications to our patients in-clinic when required without the need to see a GP.
